Victoria Park

This park is one of the largest parks in Hong Kong. 
It has a large variety of athletic and leisure facilities.


Inside the park, there is a long jogging path.
The jogging path passes through the wooded areas and passes through various fitness stations.
The park also has a foot massage garden.
The massage garden is a pebbled area that people walk upon it without shoes.


Besides, the park also has some tennis, basketball and soccer courts.
In the central area of the park, there is a big green space.
During weekends, you will see some children playing in these areas.


This park was first established in 1957.
It is named after a statue of Queen Victoria.


Every year, some of the main official festival events would hold at this park.
These events include lantern festival and a few local Chinese culture events, such as Cantonese opera, Chinese puppet shows, acrobatics and etc.
Most of them would hold for a few days.


To get to this park, take the MTR to Tin Hau MTR Station and leave at Exit A2.
Then, turn left to Hing Fat Street and you will see the basketball courts of the park in front of you.
You may also get off at Causeway Bay MTR station, but its a bit of a further walk.
